Tema for dagen: Berekraftsrapportering, ny naturmangfaldsplan og bedriftspresentasjon

Program:

Berekraftsrapportering v/ Azets Consulting

Welcome!

LivOGLyst – a program for local community development in Vestland

From Stalheim.

LivOGLyst is a program for residents of Vestland county who want to create new commitment, well-being and activity in their local communities. The program provides expertise in local community development and financial support for mobilization and activities.

The deadline for applications to take part in the program with the LivOGLYst project is 1 November!

The program gives the local communities and the residents themselves the opportunity to develop their hometown into a better place to live and be. This can be a neighbourhood, a village or a district. Through a LivOGLyst project, they can together create an attractive and vibrant local community.

Do you want to know more? Vestland County Municipality invites you to a digital information meeting about the LivOGLyst program on 10 October, registration and more information can be found here: Information meeting about the LivOGLyst program.

Theme for the meeting

  • What should be in place before applying to become a LivOGLyst project?

  • What are the activities in a preliminary project and a main project?

  • What does it mean to be part of the LivOGLyst network?

You can also submit questions you want answered in the registration form for the information meeting.

 What is a LivOGLyst project?

A LivOGLyst project is run by people in the local community. It starts with residents coming together to explore how they can create something positive in their local area. The project will involve people of all ages, backgrounds and interests, and it will mobilize people to volunteer.

The project starts with a preliminary project, where they map ideas and wishes in the local community. The preliminary project receives a subsidy of NOK 80,000 for one year. Afterwards, they can apply to become a main project, which receives NOK 300,000 spread over three years to continue the work that started in the preliminary project.

The subsidy can be used for

  • Project rental (up to 50 percent)

  • Mobilization initiatives and activities in the local community (eg new meeting places, events, village festivals, public meetings)

  • Participation in the LivOGLyst network (eg travel, accommodation, courses)

 This cannot be subsidized

They cannot apply for a grant for an established project, which already envisages concrete measures or investments. Nor can the subsidy go to major, physical investments, such as upgrading community centres, building gapa huts or saunas. The money will go towards project hire, activities, travel expenses and small purchases.

For more information about the LivOGLyst programme, as well as requirements and criteria for applying, see the website of Vestland County Council. LivOGLyst for local community development - Vestland county municipality

Professional day on biological diversity

Professional day on biological diversity - walk along the fjord to Stokko

Tid:    5. juli 2023

Det meste område me vandrar i, ligg i Nærøyfjorden landskapsvernområde.

Some information about Stokko:

The use of the area has led to many traces in the landscape of both earthen walls and stone structures. And several shelters have been built in the area.

Meir info om Stokko kan du lesa her: UNDREDAL-STOKKO I NÆRØYFJORDEN LANDSKAPSVERNOMRÅDE SKJØTSEL AV SLÅTTEMARK MED BLODDRÅPESVERMERE (nasjonalparkstyre.no)

Information and feedback meeting about cultural heritage

Cultural heritage

Plan for kulturminne, kulturmiljø og landskap i Aurland kommune

How should we take care of our cultural heritage? How can the municipality, local teams and volunteers, and landowners work more closely together to secure our valuable cultural heritage? A plan for cultural heritage, cultural environment and landscape must be a tool that ensures cooperation and action in the face of the challenges we face above and be a journey to continue being able to convey the important history, both to the locals, but also to the visitors.

  • presentation of the work with the plan and the process further

  • What should a cultural heritage plan contain?

  • what is your cultural heritage? - possibility of input into which cultural heritage should be included in the plan

Laila Kvellestad will serve delicious porridge and patches and there will be cultural music! The presentation starts at 6 p.m., but if you don't have the chance to come until later, I will work on recording the plan until 9 p.m.

World heritage clean-up day 2023

It is spring, and I enjoy sunny days and the warmth of the earth. At the same time, we see traces in nature of us humans that we do not want there. That's why I'm gathering good energy for a proper cleaning day in our area!

Tysdag 2. mai arrangerer Nærøyfjorden Verdsarvpark ryddedag langs dei to verdsarvfjordane våre, Aurlandsfjorden og Nærøyfjorden.

We hope that a broadly composed volunteer team will increase knowledge among many user groups and that the ripple effects can be positive with the result that we get less litter along the beaches. The school pupils will pick up rubbish over a large area on this day - we ask that they welcome them!

The wonderful nature we live in needs help - so if you have the time and desire, you are most welcome to make an effort in your neighbourhood. Get your boss and colleagues with you and clean up the area around your workplace, and take rubbish with you along the route you like to walk!

The goal of the conference is to create a constructive, forward-looking process for utilizing the Nærøyfjord area's world heritage status as a competitive advantage , and to show the potential of the status as a driving positive factor in future visitor, industry and community development.
