Nærøyfjorden Verdsarvpark forvaltar Aurland Naturfond som vart etablert i samband med avviklinga av Aurland Naturverkstad BA.

The purpose of the fund is to give people in Aurland the opportunity to develop experience and expertise in nature use and arranging for landscape experiences, small-scale processing and product development, nature and landscape communication. The fund shall initially be distributed through annual applications/non-payments over a period of 20 years; something that currently corresponds to approximately NOK NOK 26,500 per year.

In 2015, the fund board received 6 applications, of which 3 applicants were approved for funds.

Wednesday, January 13th, was the first board meeting of the year for Nærøyfjorden World Heritage Park arranged at Flåmsbrygga in Aurland municipality.

In addition to the election of a new chairman, there were also a number of new faces who attended the meeting for the first time from both the world heritage municipalities and the county council following the elections in autumn 2015. 

The deadline for applying for funding for UNESCO purposes from the Norwegian UNESCO Commission is 1 February 2016.

These can apply: Voluntary organisations, institutions within research or education, other non-commercial actors. Applicants must also be registered in the Brønnøysund register. 

You can apply for funding for work that promotes UNESCO-related issues.

• Intangible cultural heritage

• Democracy development

Sogn og Fjordane fylkeskommune har nett gjeve tilsegn om kr.  121 000,-  til Verdsarvparken og planlagde tiltak knytt til utbetring og istandsetjing av Brekkestien i Flåm. Verdsarvparken har med dette henta inn tilsaman kr. 521 000,- til dette samarbeidsprosjektet mellom grunneigarane, Parken, Aurland kommune og verneområdeforvaltning.  

Planlagt tiltak har til føremål å utbetre stien frå Grindahølen til Brekkefossen, eit mykje nytta turmål for både gjester til og busette i området.

Oppstart vil venteleg skje våren 2016.

New leader and deputy leader of the World Heritage Council for the West Norwegian fjord landscape.

The World Heritage Council for the West Norwegian Fjord Landscape has, as it were, the primary task of working to safeguard and promote the world heritage status awarded to the Geirangerfjord and Nærøyfjord areas jointly.

Mayor of Voss municipality, Hans Erik Ringkjøb, was elected on 1 December 2015 as the new leader of the World Heritage Council for the West Norwegian Fjord Landscape for the period 2016 - 2017. Mayor of Stranda municipality, Jan Ove Tryggestad, was elected deputy leader at the same time.

Hovudsekretariatet følgjer leiar og vertfom.  dd. lagt til stiftinga Nærøyfjorden Verdsarvpark  for dei neste to åra.

She has the ability to weave the most beautiful motifs and convey a story through these pictures. She has customers in all corners of the world and carpets made in her living room now hang on walls or lie nicely on tables in all 38 states in the USA, she has a goal of selling to the other 14 states as well.  

Leiar av Verdsarvrådet, Jan Ove Tryggestad seier at "Mundigheitene må stilla strengare krav til fartøya som får trafikkera på verdsarvfjordane. Ved neste anbodsrunde  bør samferdsleutvala stille krav om nullutsleppferjer."

Verdsarvparken sin årlege handlings- og tiltaksplan er eit resultat av ein prosess som involverer partnarar/ stiftarar, parken sitt arbeidsutval og styre samt tilsette i parkorganisasjonen.

Riksantikvaren og Miljødirektoratet har utarbeida ein rettleier som informera om korleis kulturminne i verna områder skal forvaltast. Dokumentet skal avklara korleis kulturminna er beskytta i verneområda, og kva ansvar forvaltningsmyndigheita har for å ivareta kulturminne i forvaltninga av verneområda.

Nærøyfjorden Verdsarvpark har laga ein oversikt med  nokre av arrangementa i verdsarvkommunane våren 2016. Sjå kva som har skjedd i verdsarvparken i 2015.

Den 14. juli 2015 er det 10 år sidan at Vestnorskfjordlandskap med delområda Geirangerfjorden og Nærøyfjorden vart innskrive på UNESCO si verdsarvliste for natur- og kulturarv av universell verdi. Dette ynskjer me å markere med film-, foto-, og litteraturkonkurransar under temaet «Å leva med... 

2015 markerar 10 år sidan Vestnorsk Fjordlandskap  med delområda Nærøyfjorden og Geirangerfjorden vart innskrive på UNESCO si liste over kultur- og naturarv av eineståande og universell verdi.     Nærøyfjorden Verdsarvområdet inkluderar områder i Aurland, Lærdal, Vik og Voss
