New board for Nærøyfjorden World Heritage Park!

Wednesday, January 13th, was the first board meeting of the year for Nærøyfjorden World Heritage Park arranged at Flåmsbrygga in Aurland municipality.

In addition to the election of a new chairman, there were also a number of new faces who attended the meeting for the first time from both the world heritage municipalities and the county council following the elections in autumn 2015. 

 

 

THE BOARD

The board is made up of a total of 9 people. The articles of association stipulated that 5 of these must be voted out by the founders. The other 4 must be kicked out of the park meeting.

The board for 2016 is composed as follows:
- Chairman Olav Turvoll, Mayor of Vik Municipality
- Chairman of the Board Leif-Inge Underdal, Undredal Experience
- Board member Aud Irene Ramshus, Chairman of Lærdal Municipality
- Board member Leiv Jarle Bergheim, deputy mayor of Aurland municipality
- Board member Hans Erik Ringkjøb, mayor of Voss municipality
- Board member Åshild Kjelsnes, Deputy Mayor of Sogn og Fjordane County Municipality
- Board member Erling Brandseth, Stalheim Landscape Park
- Board member Dee Cunningham, Fresvik Village Association
- Board member Solveig Grøthe, Lærdal Children's and Youth School
