Deadline for applying for funding for UNESCO purposes

The deadline for applying for funding for UNESCO purposes from the Norwegian UNESCO Commission is 1 February 2016.

These can apply: Voluntary organisations, institutions within research or education, other non-commercial actors. Applicants must also be registered in the Brønnøysund register. 

You can apply for funding for work that promotes UNESCO-related issues.  

The investment area for 2016:

  • Freedom of speech/Freedom of speech
  • Sustainable development
  • Intangible cultural heritage
  • The World Heritage
  • Democracy development
