Aurland Naturfond - application deadline 1 March 2021

THE FOUNDATION'S PURPOSE IS TO GIVE PERSONS IN AURLAND A RISE FOR EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCE DEVELOPMENT WITHIN THE USE OF NATURE AND PROVIDING FOR LANDSCAPE EXPERIENCE, SMALL-SCALE PROCESSING AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT, NATURE AND LANDSCAPE COMMUNICATION.

Nærøyfjorden The World Heritage Park manages the Aurland Nature Fund, which was established in connection with the reorganization of Aurland Naturverkstad from a BA company to an AS, where the BA company was liquidated. The BA company's assets were transferred to the Aurland Nature Fund. 

The fund shall initially be distributed through annual applications/non-payments over a period of 20 years; something which for 2021 corresponds to approximately NOK. NOK 30,800.

Persons with a residential address in Aurland municipality can apply for funds from the fund.

The funds can be used for courses, study trips, or stays in connection with training. The requested activity or measure must be part of a plan for the establishment or further development of your own business/industry. There is no requirement for separate property.

Funds can and should be applied for networking, carrying out seminars and similar events held in Aurland municipality and which are calculated on competence development in nature- and culture-based professions.

Applicants who receive funding must submit a report on the activity/initiative within 3 months of its completion.

Verdsarvparken's working committee is the fund board for Aurland Naturfond.
