Gaute Gneiss in Lærdal!

The Geirangerfjord World Heritage Foundation has donated the book "Gaute gneis gets a mission" to schools and kindergartens in the world heritage municipalities. The mayor of Lærdal, together with the municipal head of education, visited and distributed the book to the schools and kindergartens in Lærdal. They send their greetings and thanks back to us :)

"Gaute gneis gets a job" is a book about the fantasy kingdom of Fjordheimen, where strange creatures live that are actually rocks, minerals, rivers and glaciers.
Fjordheimen is also the name of the children's education project of the Geirangerfjord World Heritage Foundation. This is a project that aims to explain why it is important to preserve our world heritage – the fjord landscape of Western Norway.

We thank you for your greetings - and hope you will find the book exciting and educational!
