Sustainability Days in Aurland will contribute to more knowledge and awareness and ability among people to get "things" into circular cycles. The goal of the initiative "Sustainability Days in Aurland » has been to connect craftsmanship (in the broad sense), secondary utility and building conservation more clearly with environmental sustainability and thereby increase awareness that this is not something only for the few and especially interested, but that it is highly topical and forward-looking to get involved in this.

Increased awareness and commitment to the cultural heritage of our fjord landscape is a prerequisite for good management of this part of the world heritage and other parts of our cultural heritage. Cultural heritage is essential in the social, cultural, economic and environmental value creation in the region.
