Application for funds from Aurland Nature Fund

The purpose of the fund is to provide people with a residential address Aurland municipality the opportunity to develop experience and expertise in the field of nature use and facilitation of landscape experiences, small-scale processing and product development, and nature and landscape communication.

Funds can be applied for for courses, study trips and stays in connection with training, etc., as well as for networking and for the implementation of seminars and other events held in Aurland municipality and which is designed to develop competence in nature- and culture-based industries.

The applied activity or measure must be included in a plan for the establishment or further development of one's own business/industry.

The application must contain a project description that, in addition to information about the applicant, explains the background to the activity/measure, its content, how and when it will be implemented, and what the goal is to achieve. A budget with cost estimates and a financing plan must also be attached. There is no separate application form.

The amount that can be applied for in 2026 is NOK 39,000.

There is no requirement for a specific deductible.

The amount can be awarded to a single applicant or divided among several.

Applicants who are awarded funds are required to submit a report for the measure/activity no later than 3 months after it has been completed. The funds are disbursed based on an approved report and accounts.
