50°North - an important supporter of the World Heritage Park
For the second year in a row , the travel company 50 Degrees North has chosen to support Nærøyfjorden World Heritage Park's important work with visitor management, outreach and involvement of children and youth through its Sustainability Fund (Impact Fund) . The fund will help protect and revitalize places that are valued by the company and that their customers visit. 50 Degrees North has the Nordic region as its area of operation, and every year brings many visitors from both the USA and Australia to the Nærøyfjord area and Aurland .
The financial support from 50 Degrees North will continue until 2028 and will be of great importance to the World Heritage Park's work. In addition to the financial support, 50 Degrees North has also become a supporter and partner for specific initiatives in the Park. It will also bring its spring collection to the Nærøyfjord area in late April, participate in testing out the offers that the World Heritage Park will launch, and also contribute with volunteer work in our area in the future. In other words, 50 Degrees North is committed to contributing to and showing the way for more responsible tourism for the environment and local communities.
