Announcement of World Heritage Sites 2026

Aurland The municipality hereby announces grants for measures in the Western Norwegian Fjord Landscape World Heritage Area – Nærøyfjorden The application deadline is rolling, with the latest deadline being September 1, 2026.

Applications must be submitted electronically via Altinn. Here is a link to information and the form .

Allocation of funds is in accordance with the rules (PDF, 6 MB) developed for the scheme.

The purpose of the subsidy scheme is to strengthen agriculture in the World Heritage areas. This is the basis for the municipality's management of the scheme.

The budget available in 2026 is approximately NOK 4,000,000.

The municipality has set up the following budget for the use of the funds:

Annual measures: NOK 3,200,000
Other measures: NOK 800,000
