New management

From 1 January 2020, the municipalities have taken over management of the world heritage funds for agriculture in the world heritage area West Norwegian Fjord Landscape. This is allowed in the regulations; "Regulations on subsidies for measures in Selected cultural landscapes in agriculture and the world heritage areas Vegaøyan and West Norwegian fjord landscape".

Aurland municipality has been given responsibility for managing the scheme in the Nærøyfjord area, and Felles Landbrukskontor ÅLA carries out this work in practice. No major changes from previous years are planned. We are passing on the guidelines that the County Governor has drawn up previously, with some adjustments. You can find the guidelines attached.
