Application deadline - Regional Environmental Program 2019

 The Regional Environmental Programme is a strategic programme for cultural landscapes, biodiversity, climate and pollution related to agriculture. The programme, including the subsidy schemes, has been established by the County Governor in consultation with the Farmers' Association and the Farmers' and Small Farmers' Association.

The regional environmental subsidies are, like production subsidies, an annual operating subsidy for agricultural enterprises in operation that meet certain conditions. All enterprises that can apply for production subsidies in agriculture, that have agricultural operations in Hordaland or Sogn og Fjordane and that meet the conditions set in the various subsidy schemes, can apply for regional environmental subsidies.

The deadline to apply is October 15, 2019.

New regional environmental program for Hordaland and Sogn og Fjordane

As part of the environmental program, farmers can apply for subsidies for harvesting steep or roadless areas, grazing, livestock farming, preserving biodiversity and cultural heritage, and reducing pollution. An overview of the various subsidies in the environmental program can be found here.
