The recycling seminar
World heritage showed itself at its best on Monday 5 June, the day I had chosen for the conversion seminar on old houses on agricultural properties.
A total of 33 people gathered at Sivle Gard in Voss herad to listen to useful and inspiring lectures on the topic, make new contacts, get to experience Sivle Gard and taste the good food of the hosts. The day ended with an excursion to Gudvangen Gard and Camping to see the rental project there and hear about the owner, Lene Hagen, her experiences with the renovation and the possibilities for new use.
Thank you to everyone who took part and made this day so nice - the hosts, participants, presenters and organizers!
The recycling seminar was carried out as a collaboration between Nærøyfjorden World Heritage Park and Landbrukkontoret ÅLA, and with financial support from Vestland county (Subsidy for cultural heritage on the World Heritage List).
