Norwegian Parks are in the state budget!

🌿 🌿 It is with great pleasure that I can announce that the investment in Norske Parker is included in the state budget that was presented today! 🌿 🌿

The government continues with the investment in nature and cultural parks and regional parks with NOK 5 million in the state budget for 2021. In the Ministry of Climate and Environment's budget, on page 161, it is stated:

"The regional parks at the association Norske parkar will be allocated NOK 5 million. The funds will go to the operation and development of the organisation.

The aim of the scheme is to help ensure that the conservation values in the conservation area and other valuable natural areas become part of a wider value creation that has a long-term positive effect on nature, local communities and business development."
