Visit to farms in the Western Norwegian fjord landscape - Nærøyfjorden

The Department of Agriculture, the Agricultural Office and the World Heritage Secretariat conducted a tour of farms in the West Norwegian fjord landscape this week - Nærøyfjorden . This is an annual follow-up to the Action Plan for the Cultural Landscape in the World Heritage Area. An active and self-sufficient agriculture is the most important "tool" for achieving the goals in the plan and the farms we visited is absolutely a good example of the latter.
