Otternes Bygdetun

WELCOME TO OTTERNES

Otternes is one of the best-preserved and largest cluster tuna in Western Norway, and it is the wholeness of the cluster tuna that is unique.

The building mass has a particularly high degree of authenticity in both the yard structure, the buildings' exteriors, interiors and loose objects. Klyngetunet has 27 buildings, for example residential buildings, barns, firehouses and storehouses.

Traces of settlements have been found from around 300 CE Burial mounds on the other side of the fjord indicate settlements already in pre-Christian times.

You are welcome to wander around the yard and look around, but please be kind and follow these rules;
