Application for funds from Aurland Nature Fund
Nærøyfjorden World Heritage Park manages Aurland Nature Fund, established in connection with the reorganization of Aurland Nature workshop from BA company to AS where the BA company was liquidated. The BA company's assets were invested in Aurland Nature Fund.
The fund aims to provide people with Aurland opportunity for experience and competence development within nature management and facilitation of landscape experiences, small-scale processing and product development, nature and landscape communication.
Fondet skal i utgangspunktet fordelast gjennom årlege søknadar/ ubetalingar over ein periode på 20 år; noko som for 2022 tilsvarar om lag kr. 32 000,-.
Persons with a residential address in Aurland municipality can apply for funds from the fund.
Midlane kan nyttast til m.a. kurs, studiereiser, eller opphald i samband med opplæring. Omsøkt aktivitet eller tiltak skal inngå i ein plan for etablering eller vidareutvikling av eiga bedrift/ næring. Det vert ikkje stilt krav om særskild eigendel. Det kan og søkjast midlar til nettverksbygging, gjennomføring av seminar og liknande arrangement som vert halde i Aurland kommune og som er berekna på kompetanseutvikling i natur- og kulturbaserte næringar.
Applicants who receive funding must submit a report on the activity/initiative within 3 months of its completion.
The World Heritage Park's working committee is the foundation board for Aurland Nature Fund.
