Beach Cleanup Day 2019

After a great volunteer effort last year, we knew these days were going to be great! We had received positive feedback this year as well, and our ambitions had increased - now we wanted to clean even more areas!

On Thursday 25th April, young and old were ready to go out into the World Heritage Site and clean up litter in Aurland municipality. We had great help from Aurland Primary and Secondary School and Flåm School, and not least many of the Parken partners who helped, among other things, by moving the clever hands!

On Friday, April 26th, Vik Municipality was responsible for the trip and Fresvik and Feios schools cleaned up - great effort and good spirits! We who were there from Nærøyfjorden World Heritage Park had a great day with young and old who were positive and engaged - thank you very much for a great effort!

We would like to thank everyone who contributed to such a great effort - it's great that you showed up! This is the only way we can do such a thorough job. And we hope to see everyone again next year!

We have collected some pictures that tell the story of the effort:

And you? You're welcome to pick up the trash you find - every day :) Have a wonderful spring!
