Application for funds from Aurland Nature Fund

Nærøyfjorden World Heritage Park Manager Aurland Nature Fund. The fund aims to provide people in Aurland opportunity for experience and competence development within nature management and facilitation of landscape experiences, small-scale processing and product development, nature and landscape communication.

The fund will initially be distributed through annual applications/payments over a period of 20 years; which for 2025 corresponds to approximately NOK 34,116.

Persons with a residential address in Aurland municipality can apply for funds from the fund.

The funds can be used for courses, study trips, or stays in connection with training. The requested activity or measure must be part of a plan for the establishment or further development of your own business/industry. There is no requirement for separate property.

Funds can also be applied for for networking, conducting seminars and similar events held in Aurland municipality and which is designed to develop competence in nature- and culture-based industries.

Applicants who receive funding must submit a report on the activity/initiative within 3 months of its completion.

The World Heritage Park's working committee is the foundation board for Aurland Nature Fund.
