Half of the population (51%) are familiar with the term "World Heritage", but almost as many (45%) cannot name a single Norwegian World Heritage city. This is shown by a new survey from Ipsos, carried out for Norway's World Heritage.

"These figures show that we have great potential for increasing the Norwegian population's knowledge of and belonging to our world heritage sites"
- Liv Astrid Sverdrup, director of Norway's World Heritage.
