Development Conference 2022

The Nærøyfjord area's UNESCO World Heritage status as a competitive advantage towards 2030

Fretheim hotel, Flåm

The registration deadline is 18 November

The goal of the conference is to create a constructive, forward-looking process for utilizing the Nærøyfjord area's world heritage status as a competitive advantage , and to show the potential of the status as a driving positive factor in future visitor, industry and community development.

  • How can the world heritage area and this region stand out as a destination and take an even clearer position in future tourism as a Lighthouse and Green Destination with real content?

  • What can be done to strengthen cooperation and interaction that can lead to better visitor distribution in time and space, even greater profitability, even better environmental sustainability and even better experiences for the guests?
